Bocuse D'Or Europe 2018 OFF

Piemonte reserves a very special welcome to Bocuse d’Or. The most prestigious gastronomic competition in the world will take place in Torino on 11-12 June 2018 and Piemonte will celebrate the event with a calendar of initiatives mixing food and culture.
Starting from January, chefs and writers, culinary critics and food bloggers, artists, designers and performers will contribute to a unique polyphonic story involving the whole territory, which will reach its climax in the week 8 – 16 June 2018. That’s Bocuse d’Or Europe 2018 OFF, a widespread program realized with the participation of museums, foundations and cultural institutes, key figures of the food&wine scenery, and public and private partners. Street events and exhibitions, film festivals, meetings and workshops, activities for children and families: all the initiatives area a significant tribute to the Italian and European food and wine culture, a path through tradition, art, literature, cinema, design and creativity.
Because cooking is a form of art, therefore is culture, a discipline which expresses contemporaneity and reworking of its roots and of the identities of the territory, belonging to a community, in a continuous dialogue, sharing a common vision of the future.
